In canada the heavy industrial x-Gard snow retention system is typically the first choice when engineering Snow Retention on all industrial projects.

X-Gard 1.0 is mechanically attached with our S-5! patented round-point setscrews, gripping the seam securely without penetration and without damage to the panel’s protective finishes.; thereby, maintaining the manufacturer's 'weather tightness' warranty.
flexibility
our s-5! clamp mounted snowguards for metal roofs can be easily retrofitted to existing roofs or incorporated into new construction design. It can be installed any time during the year on almost any metal roof profile.

X-Gard 1.0 Bracket
BRACKET USED FOR Single PIPE SYSTEM WHICH IS fastened TO THE S-5! CLAMP.
S-5! clamp
THE correct CLAMP IS SELECTED ACCORDING TO THE ROOFING PROFILE AND IS MECHANICALLY ATTACHED TO THE SEAM WITH ROUND -POINT SETSCREWS.
crossmember
Aluminum Schedule 10 ROUND PIPE, SPLICED at 20' intervals, allows for minimal lateral movement and maximum installation efficiency.
X-Clip II & III
X-ClipS are mid seam snow clips that inhibit Ice / Snow from sliding under the system. Optional for smaller seam widths and mandatory for Industrial roof projects.
finishing components
Lock collars to be installed on the ends of each run (and max. 50' intervals) to suppress lateral movement. End caps to be installed on the ends of each run.
